Elliott Maddox singled with two out in the 10th inning, scoring Lee Mazzilli, to bring the Mets a 5-4 victory over the Braves. Mazzilli reached base with a single and took second on a sacrifice by John Stearns. After Steve Henderson was passed purposely, Jerry Morales forced Henderson as Mazzilli moved to third. Maddox then singled off the glove of Braves first baseman Chris Chambliss to score Mazzilli. [The Sporting News]
