After walks to Darrell Evans and Mike Ivie in the 15th inning, Jim Wohlford drove in a run with a two-out double to enable the Giants to defeat the Pirates, 10-9. Willie Stargell and Dave Parker batted in four runs apiece for the Pirates, with each having a homer among his hits. The Giants appeared to have the game won in the 13th when Jack Clark and Ivie homered, but Stargell tied the score with a two-run double in the Pirates' half. [The Sporting News]
