A run-scoring single by Ken Henderson broke a 2-2 tie in the sixth inning and sparked the Cubs to a 4-2 triumph over the Expos. Jerry Martin, who doubled, crossed the plate on Henderson's hit. The first two Chicago tallies came in the third on a homer by Ivan DeJesus. [The Sporting News]
