Successive homers by Dwayne Murphy and Mitchell Page after a walk to Rickey Henderson in the fourth inning started the A's off to a 6-3 victory over the Rangers. Murphy singled for another RBI when the A's clinched the outcome with two runs in the seventh. Steve McCatty held the Rangers to six hits, including a two-run double by Al Oliver and homer by Richie Zisk. [The Sporting News]
