The Giants rallied from a 2-0 deficit in the ninth inning when pinch-hitter Milt May stroked a two-run double with two out for a 3-2 victory over the Braves. Larry McWilliams had four-hit shutout going into the ninth and was one out away from victory when he was replaced by Larry Bradford. With runners at first and second, Mike Sadek singled home the first run of the inning. May, batting for winning pitcher Greg Minton, then doubled to left-center. [The Sporting News]
