. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A bouncer off the bat of Mike Cubbage with two out in the seventh caromed off the glove of second baseman Damaso Garcia for a hit that drove in Rob Wilfong with the winning run in the Twins' 3-2 defeat of the Blue Jays. Wilfong bunted for a hit to start the inning, took second on a bunt single by Hosken Powell and went to third when Danny Goodwin hit into a double play. John Castino squeezed home the first Minnesota run in the third and Glenn Adams singled home Ken Landreaux, who had doubled, for the Twins' second run in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
