Jose Cruz singled home a first-inning run and singled to touch off a four-run third inning in leading the Astros to their sixth straight victory, a 6-2 decision over the Cubs. The Astros collected six consecutive singles in the third frame with Cesar Cedeno, Alan Ashby and Ken Forsch driving in a run apiece.
