Two-run, two-out homers by Benny Ayala and Ken Singleton and six-hit pitching by Steve Stone carried the Orioles to a 4-1 victory over the Mariners. Ayala's blast came in the fourth inning and drove in Singleton, who had singled ahead of him. Singleton's round-tripper came in the eighth with Kiko Garcia on base. [The Sporting News]
