. . . where the 1970s live forever!

The Red Sox smote the Angels hip and thigh in a 13-2 rout. The Sox scored four runs in the fourth inning on a solo homer by Jim Rice and three-run round-tripper by Butch Hobson. They added three more in the fifth on an RBI double by Carlton Fisk and two-run double by Carl Yastrzemski, and made it 13-1 in the seventh on a run-scoring single by Fisk, three-run pinch-homer by Dave Stapleton and bases-empty circuit clout by Hobson.
