A two-run double by Chris Chambliss keyed a three-run seventh inning that snapped a 4-4 tie and lifted the Braves to a 7-6 triumph over the Cubs. Chambliss later scored when Cubs center fielder Jerry Martin dropped a fly ball hit by Bob Horner. The Braves had previously rallied from a 4-1 deficit and eventually tied the game on a solo homer by Bruce Benedict, his first major league round-tripper, in the sixth stanza. [The Sporting News]
