A three-run homer by Steve Henderson climaxed a Garrison finish that saw the Mets score five runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to edge the Giants, 7-6. Henderson's first round-tripper of the season came off Allen Ripley, the third Frisco pitcher, who had relieved Greg Minton, who gave up run-scoring singles to Lee Mazzilli and Claudell Washington.
