Although needing relief help, Bert Blyleven recorded his 150th career victory as the Pirates posted a 5-3 triumph over the Reds. Tim Foli drove in three runs with a sacrifice fly and double. His sacrifice fly capped a three-run second inning that brought the Bucs back from a 1-0 deficit, and he doubled in two runs in the fourth frame. [The Sporting News]
