Although needing relief help, Mike Torrez recorded his 150th career victory as the Red Sox posted a 6-3 decision over the Angels. The score was 2-2 in the third inning when Tony Perez put the Sox ahead to stay with a two-run homer. Dave Rader also hit a homer for the Red Sox, his first in the A.L. [The Sporting News]
