Four-hit pitching by Jim Bibby carried the Pirates to a 2-1 triumph, snapping the Astros' five-game winning streak and ending the Bucs' six-game losing skein. The Pirates scored in the first inning when Omar Moreno singled, stole second, advanced to third on a sacrifice by Phil Garner and came home on an infield hit by Bill Madlock.
