Homers by Rick Cerone, Reggie Jackson, Bob Watson and Graig Nettles powered the Yankees to a 10-5 thumping of the Red Sox. The Yankees were behind, 5-3, with two out in the third inning when Cerone delivered a three-run round-tripper. Watson blasted a solo clout in the seventh and Jackson belted a three-run shot in the eighth. Nettles' swat came in the first frame with the bases empty. [The Sporting News]
