Capping a comeback by the Astros, Jose Cruz knocked in two runs with a triple in the eighth inning to beat the Reds, 5-4. The Reds collected six hits and scored all their runs in the first inning. After the Astros picked up a pair in their half of the first and added a run in the seventh, pinch-hitter Rafael Landestoy doubled in the eighth.
