Two doubles by Gary Alexander, who drove in three runs, highlighted the Indians' 13-hit attack in a 9-8 victory over the Rangers. The Indians had a comfortable 9-2 lead before the Rangers came up with a two-run double by Bump Wills and two-run triple by Al Oliver in the seventh inning.
