Completing the three-game series sweep, the Orioles shaded the Brewers, 1-0, as a second-inning homer by Doug DeCinces supplied the lone run of the game. The only other hit off loser Bill Travers was a single by Kiko Garcia in the fifth.

Dennis Martinez, making his first start for the Orioles since May 8 after having been on the disabled list, went 8 2/3 innings and yielded five hits. Tippy Martinez came on to record the final out. [The Sporting News]
