After the Giants tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the ninth on a two-run homer by Darrell, Evans, Phil Garner led off the bottom of the frame with a walk, advanced to second on a balk by Al Holland, reached third on an infield out and, after Mike Easler was intentionally passed, came home on a single by Omar Moreno.
