Robin Yount rapped a single, triple and homer as one of three Brewers batters with three hits apiece in a 5-1 victory over the White Sox. Yount apparently struck out in the seventh inning, but umpire Jerry Neudecker had called time before the pitch was delivered by Steve Trout. Given a second chance at the plate, Yount whacked his homer on the next serve by the White Sox loser. [The Sporting News]
