A homer by John Milner and bases-loaded single by Phil Garner in the sixth inning accounted for three runs and brought the Pirates a 6-4 victory over the Dodgers. After Milner's homer tied the score at 4-4, the Pirates loaded the bases on a single by Mike Easler, pass to Bill Madlock and an error by Steve Garvey to set the stage for Garner's deciding single.
