Barry Bonnell banged a homer in the second inning and then drove in another run with a single in the ninth to bring the Blue Jays a 5-4 victory over the Angels. Lloyd Moseby also homered for the Jays, while Bobby Grich hit one for the Angels in the eighth to tie the score at 4-4. In the ninth, Damaso Garcia led off with a double, advanced to third when Don Baylor let the ball get by him in right field and scored the Blue Jays' winning run on Bonnell's single.
