After pinch-hitter Denny Walling was intentionally walked to load the bases and Rafael Landestoy struck out, Puhl stroked the winning hit to center. The Astros had tied the contest in the seventh on an RBI double by Reynolds and run-scoring single by Landestoy. [The Sporting News]
