Scattering 10 hits, Geoff Zahn pitched the Twins to a 3-2 triumph over the Yankees. A two-run single by Rob Wilfong in the eighth inning was the key hit. It came with two out and the bases loaded and broke a 1-1 tie. Both New York runs came in on sacrifice flies by Rick Cerone.
