. . . where the 1970s live forever!

The Indians won their seventh consecutive game, 7-2 over the Mariners, as Mike Hargrove led the attack with a pair of homers. The Tribe scored in the first when Miguel Dilone doubled and came around on a pair of grounders.

Jerry Dybzinski singled home a second-inning run and Hargrove belted a leadoff round-tripper in the third. Hargrove started a two-run seventh with another circuit clout. Bo Diaz followed with a triple and pinch-hitter Ron Hassey then drilled a run-scoring single. [The Sporting News]
