After Astros first baseman Danny Heep dropped a pop foul for an error, Garry Maddox returned to the plate and knocked in two runs with a single to give the Phillies a 6-4 victory. The Phils trailed, 3-2, going into the bottom of the fifth when they loaded the bases on a double by Dick Ruthven and walks to Pete Rose and Mike Schmidt.
