Rallying for two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, the White Sox edged the Brewers, 6-5. After a solo homer by Ben Oglivie put the Brewers ahead, 5-4, in the top of the eighth, Jim Morrison led off the White Sox half with a single and went to second on an infield hit by Bob Molinaro.

A double by Wayne Nordhagen tied the score. After an intentional pass to Chet Lemon loaded the bases, pinch-hitter Randy Johnson delivered a sacrifice fly. Morrison blasted a three-run homer in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
