Brilliant pitching by Jerry Koosman carried the Twins to a 2-1 triumph over the Yankees in 10 innings as John Castino drove in the winning run with a two-bagger. The veteran southpaw yielded only three hits and held the Bronx Bombers hitless from the third inning through the 10th. In the 10th, Ken Landreaux singled and raced home on Castino's double.
