Jim Clancy and Mike Barlow combined on a four-hitter and Damaso Garcia doubled home two runs to pace the Blue Jays to a 3-1 victory over the Angels. In the first inning, Alfredo Griffin doubled, went to third on a groundout and scored on a sacrifice fly by Otto Velez. Barry Bonnell and Lloyd Moseby led off the sixth with consecutive singles and, two outs later, Garcia hit his double to give the Jays a 3-0 margin. [The Sporting News]
