A leadoff homer by Cesar Cedeno in the 10th inning lifted the Astros to a 3-2 triumph over the Mets. The victory ended the Astros' four-game losing skein and snapped the Mets' four-game winning string. Joe Sambito hurled 2 2/3 innings of hitless relief to pick up the victory. [The Sporting News]
