Doyle Alexander and Rick Camp combined to pitch the Braves to a 4-3 triumph over the Dodgers. Alexander scattered six hits over 7 1/3 innings before leaving with leg cramps and Camp came on to earn the save.

The Braves trailed, 3-2, when Bob Horner led off the bottom of the sixth with a double and stopped at third on a double by Dale Murphy. Jeff Burroughs and Bruce Benedict then delivered back-to-back sacrifice flies. Glenn Hubbard smacked a two-run homer in the third. [The Sporting News]
