Completing the four-game series sweep, the Indians edged the Blue Jays, 7-6. After the Jays tied the contest in the top of the ninth inning on a two-run pinch-homer by Doug Ault, Toby Harrah drew a one-out walk in the bottom of the frame.

Mike Barlow relieved Jerry Garvin on the mound for Toronto and was greeted by a bloop single by Joe Charboneau that sent Harrah to third. Bo Diaz then laced a single to right to plate Harrah and give the Indians their 13th victory in the last 15 games. [The Sporting News]
