A single by Sal Bando in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie and Moose Haas went on to post his 10th complete game of the season, pitching the Brewers to a 4-2 victory over the Indians. A single by Gorman Thomas, infield out and intentional pass to Sizto Lezcano preceded Bando's game-winning hit.
