A grand slam by Jack Clark powered the Giants to a 5-1 victory over the Braves. After a homer by Bob Horner had given the Braves a 1-0 lead in the second inning, the Giants loaded the bases in the third on a pair of walks and a single by Darrell Evans before Clark drilled the third bases-loaded homer of his career.
