Clint Hurdle homered, doubled and singled and drove in two runs to pace the Royals to a 9-3 decision over the Brewers. Hurdle staked K.C. to a 2-0 lead in the second inning with a round-tripper and the Royals scored two more in the top of the third on a double by Hal McRae and single by Willie Aikens.
