Dave Rajsich pitched 8 2/3 innings of one-run relief, enabling the Rangers to overcome the Royals, 10-6. Fergie Jenkins, making his first appearance since being arrested in Toronto for alleged possession of narcotics, lasted only one-third of an inning, allowing five runs on five hits.
