Jerry Koosman yielded only three singles in 8 1/3 innings and Doug Corbett then saved the Twins' 4-0 victory over the Tigers, who were stopped on their four-game winning streak. Corbett relieved and retired the last two batters after Koosman issued a pair of walks.
