Rich Dauer then grounded to Rick Burleson and Carlton Fisk took the shortstop's throw off the base, Lowenstein scoring to tie the game at 6-6. Burleson then fumbled Mark Belanger's grounder and the bases were loaded for Al Bumbry, who stroked a two-run single. [The Sporting News]
