Blasting off for four runs in the first inning, the Twins went on to an 8-2 victory over the Rangers. The first two runs of the opening frame came in on a throwing error by Bump Wills, Glenn Adams getting credit for one RBI on the play. Butch Wynegar capped the uprising with a two-run single.
