Terry Kennedy walked to open the stanza and Tony Scott singled him to third. After a wild pitch and intentional pass to pinch-hitter Ted Simmons, Herr batted for Rincon and singled to break the 1-1 tie. Hernandez' subsequent single clinched the decision. [The Sporting News]
