Driving in three runs apiece, Dan Meyer and Jerry Narron batted the Mariners to a 7-2 victory over the Rangers. Meyer drove in a run with a single in the first inning and homered with a man on base in the third.

Narron homered with two aboard in the sixth as the Mariners pinned the defeat on Fergie Jenkins, who made his first start since being reinstated by an arbiter's decision after being suspended following his arrest in Canada for alleged drug possession. [The Sporting News]
