Jim Morrison hit a two-run homer plus three singles to help bat the White Sox to a 6-3 victory over the Angels. After the Angels took a 2-0 lead, Chet Lemon doubled in the third inning and Morrison followed with his homer to tie the score. The White Sox then took the lead in that same stanza when Rusty Kuntz singled to drive in Lamar Johnson. [The Sporting News]
