A two-run homer by Doug DeCinces was the key blow as the Orioles stayed alive in the East Division race by downing the Indians, 5-3. The Orioles trailed, 3-1, when they scored three runs in the sixth inning on a single by Ken Singleton, a wild pitch, single by Benny Ayala and a circuit swat by DeCinces.
