A three-run homer by Carlton Fisk sparked the White Sox to a 5-3 season-opening triumph over the Red Sox. The Chisox trailed, 2-0, in the eighth when pinch-hitter Bob Molinaro drew a leadoff walk and reached second on a single by Ron LeFlore. Mike Squires sacrificed the runners along and Fisk then delivered the big blast against his former teammates.
