Playing in his first game since May 19 of last year, Larry Hisle belted a two-run homer and Gorman Thomas added a solo shot to highlight a three-run sixth inning, lifting the Brewers to a 5-3 triumph over the Indians in the season opener for both teams. An RBI double by Paul Molitor gave the Brewers a 1-0 lead in the third and Hisle and Thomas put Milwaukee ahead to say after the Tribe had tied the game in the fifth frame on a run-scoring single by Tom Veryzer.
