. . . where the 1970s live forever!
Collecting three hits and two RBIs, Steve Kemp paced the Tigers to a 6-2 victory over the Blue Jays. The Tigers jumped in front, 1-0, in the third inning when Ricky Peters doubled, advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt and scored on an infield single by Kemp.

A solo homer by Lance Parrish in the fourth made it 2-0. The Tigers tallied four times in the seventh stanza on an RBI triple by Kemp and run-scoring singles by Richie Hebner, Mick Kelleher and Lou Whitaker. [The Sporting News]
