Two-run homers by Ben Oglivie and Ted Simmons helped power the Brewers to a 6-1 decision over the Indians as Jim Slaton received credit for his first victory since May of last season. The Brewers took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on an RBI groundout by Cecil Cooper and made it 3-0 with a circuit swat by Oglivie in the third.
