Pounding out four straight hits to open the seventh inning, the Rangers tallied three times to defeat the Yankees, 6-4. The game was tied, 3-3, going into the seventh when Jim Sundberg singled and Mario Mendoza dribbled a two-bagger past charging third baseman Graig Nettles.
