Although getting only two hits, the Astros prevailed over the Braves, 2-0. Craig Reynolds spoiled Tommy Boggs' bid for a no-hitter with a leadoff single in the seventh inning. When Cesar Cedeno followed with a sacrifice bunt, Boggs threw the ball wildly into right field, Reynolds scoring on the play with Cedeno racing to third.
