A two-run homer by Carlton Fisk was the decisive blow as the White Sox shaded the Red Sox, 2-1, behind the five-hit pitching of Steve Trout and Lamarr Hoyt. Fisk's blast came in the fifth inning and followed a single by Bill Almon. [The Sporting News]
